We Built This City

We Built This City, London, 2015 poster

An initiative developed and produced by Nathalie Weadick for ID2015 that uncovered the impact of the Irish Diaspora by chronicling the development of three global cities: London, Chicago and New York. A trilogy of panel discussions took place in each city that focused on the contribution Irish people have made to the form and function of these cities.

We Built This City, Panel Discussion, Chicago, November 2015.

The project achieved three sold out talks and three short films, directed and produced by Dyehouse Films, which have together been viewed over 150,000 times online, and continuing.
